I'm an amateur photographer, husband and father of two young girls, living in Portland, Oregon.
The only way I know to improve my photography is to keep clicking that button. Every day. To that end I maintain a photo-a-day journal at www.blipfoto.com where I do try to post an image a day.
I hope you enjoy some of what I`ve captured thus far and don't suffer too much whiplash from the mishmash of colour, B&W, HDR and subject matter.
I have no particular style or focus for my photography. I am still learning so all types of photography are a challenge and an interest.
I am very drawn to urban and candid/street photography but have not had the nerve nor the commitment to pursue it. I hope to change that this year and get out of my comfort zone somewhat. Living in Portland certainly provides great opportunities to do so.
Mostly click away with this setup:
I shoot RAW and process with Adobe Lightroom and sometimes with Bibble Pro. Really should learn and use Photoshop more.
HDR captures are processed with Photomatix.

If you happen to follow my journal on Blipfoto then you'll probably recognise a good many of my images here. While I will try not to re-post too many of my blips, the fact is that there are many blips I like so there will inevitably be duplication. Sorry about that.
If you are experiencing deja vu, don't worry. It's not you. This site was created with Pixelpost using The World in 35mm as a template, which itself was based off Treeswing. Thanks, guys!
If you experience problems with the site it's most likely due to me still tweaking the code. If the problem doesn't go away, leave a comment.
I have noticed that occasionally an image will fail to load. Very annoying but thankfully not fatal. Just hit refresh to force it to load again.
I'm listed on most photoblog community sites. My current favourite site is VFXY Photos. You can checkout them all out here:
