While I was sitting on Emma's bed this scene of Holly - writing in her journal before going to sleep - caught my eye. I used multiple exposures and processed with Photomatix to try and capture the feel of the moment. Went heavy on the detail enhancements to try and bring out the speckled texture of the old plaster walls and the rumpled quilt. I also love that the single lamp bulb creates such interesting light.

Now this is what I call a girls room ;-) Only the celling looks a little suspicious.. Claus Petersen @ February 5, 2009
Wonderful ambiance ! Nicolas @ February 7, 2009
An absolutely lovely room for the girls! She looks so comfortable, like she wouldn't want to get up at all. Interesting choice to do the Wide-angle and HDRish effect. D @ February 10, 2009
I second the ceiling concerns, but what a girly happy space
